The Northern Rail Schools Cup Final, a curtain raiser to last Sunday’s Northern Rail Cup final at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road, saw Rodillian School, representing Hunslet Hawks and hailing from Lofthouse, emerge victorious by 30-16 against The Heath School who represented Widnes Vikings.

Rodillian centre Jordan Sharpe stole the show scoring four of their six tires with captain Jordan Gale grabbing two. The Heath’s tries came from full-back Sean Robinson, stand-off Tom Dempsey and loose forward Mitch Larkin.
