Hobson banned for five matches

Blackpool Panthers prop Andy Hobson has been suspended for five matches and fined £50 by the RFL Disciplinary Committee after being found guilty of two offences in his side’s game against York City Knights on Sunday May 30.
Hobson was banned for one match for a Grade B trip on York’s Luke Hardbottle in the first minute of the Co-operative Championship One fixture.
The 31-year old was also suspended for four matches after being found guilty of a Grade D offence of using his forearm on Nathan Freer in the 80th minute of the same match.
