Andrew Henderson hopes to have the last laugh on a mystery joker - and on Castleford Tigers this week.

The former Tigers hooker makes his first return to The Jungle since his reluctant departure at the end of 2008 when he plays for Barrow Raiders in Sunday’s Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth round tie.

Henderson is convinced his Barrow team can go one step better than Halifax last year and knock the Tigers out of the Cup.

But before that Henderson will spend some time trying to track down a phantom internet prankster.

Hendo’s Wikipedia entry includes the fact that he is a part-time stand-up comic and is thinking of doing it full-time after he quits playing.

It would make him unique in Rugby League - if only it were true.

Henderson laughed: “One of my mates phoned up to ask me about it but it’s not true at all.

“Someone has obviously put it up as a joke, so I’m going to have to find out who. I have not found the culprit yet.

“But I give a bit out to people so I guess I have to cop this one in return.”

While Henderson thinks the prank is funny, he won’t be laughing if Barrow struggle against his old club.

He said: “It’s going to be tough but we are going there thinking we have got an opportunity. Barrow is a club with aspirations and we’re looking to make a statement.

“Cas are low on confidence and not getting the results but they will be looking at the Cup as an opportunity to resurrect their season.

“We will have to play extremely well to beat them but it will be a big scalp if we do.”

Halifax were only knocked out by the Tigers on golden point in a 35-34 fifth round thriller last year. Cas went on to lose their next four games and their form is little better this season.

“I am really looking forward to going back. It will be weird though playing against some of my old team-mates.”
