Blackpool Panthers V Widnes Vikings Sunday’s game has been called off because of the weather this week. Fylde Rugby Union has had a pitch inspection this afternoon with two RFU referees for their game on Saturday.

The referees came to a decision and said the pitch is unplayable due to the frozen pitch and surrounding area. Panthers Players will not be training at Fylde on Saturday morning due to the pitch. The game will probably not be rescheduled because both teams have busy fixtures coming up.
