Back row forward Simon Worrall, who was the Rhinos’ 18th man at last week’s Grand Final, has been given a new contract for next season which he will spend in France with Co-operative Championship club Toulouse.

“Simon is keen to keep an association with the club whilst challenging himself in a new environment,” said Leeds chief executive Gary Hetherington.

“He will play with Toulouse next season and hopes to put himself in contention for a return to the club in the future.”

Full-back Ben Jones-Bishop, 21, will go on loan to engage Super League rivals Harlequins RL and 20-year-old forward Dane Manning will move to Featherstone, both on season-long deals.

And the Rhinos have announced that new signings Kyle Amor and Michael Coady will be dual registered with Whitehaven and Featherstone respectively under new rules introduced by the Rugby Football League.

Hetherington said: “In the case of Michael and Kyle, they will begin pre-season with the Rhinos with the aim of pushing their claims for a spot in the first team.”
