Dewsbury offer free entry for Workington clash

Dewsbury Rams are celebrating winning the Co-operative Championship 1 title by throwing open the gates and offering free entry for all supporters for their home clash with Workington Town at the Tetley's Stadium on Sunday August 16.
The Rams will be presented with the Co-operative Championship 1 trophy after the game which kicks off at 3pm and the club are hoping for a huge crowd to come along and join the party.
Dewsbury Chairman Mark Sawyer said: "We were overwhelmed with the response to our season ticket offer at the start of the season and the level of support from the fans throughout the year both at home and away has been incredible and has certainly contributed to our success.
“We now want everyone else in the town to experience what they have been missing out on for the last 8 months and it's not going to cost them a penny!
“This is an opportunity for the people of Dewsbury to come together to celebrate something positive and we are challenging the town to bring a record breaking crowd to watch us lift the Championship One trophy and join in the party in the Royal Suite afterwards."
Gates at the stadium will open at 1:30pm and commemorative t-shirts will be on sale as Dewsbury aim to maintain their one hundred per cent record this season having already won 15 out of 15 matches thus far.
Dewsbury Rams v Workington Town – Sunday August 16 – kick off 3pm.
