Browne Departs Skolars

The London Skolars today announced that General Manager, Phillip Browne has resigned from the club. Browne will be taking up a new post as CEO of the Tag Rugby Group.
Browne arrived from Sydney, Australia in early March to take up the General Managers position and will officially leave the club at the end of the season.
Prior to working at the London Skolars, Browne managed a sports management agency from Sydney and has worked in the game for the NSWRL Academy and in various capacities for the Fiji National Rugby League.
“It’s been a really good learning curve for me at the club but I feel it’s time to move on to the next challenge.”
“I will be leaving the London Skolars on good terms and I’d like to be able to assist the club in future where possible”
“I believe Rugby League has a place down here in the capital and I’m sure we will continue to see growth of the sport in London.” Browne said.
