Following Blackpool Panther’s historic win in the first ever Northern Rail 9’s competition their mascot Pablo has been taking the Cup to local schools.

At Roseacre Pablo was accompanied by Panther’s Development Manager Nick Settle. They visited every class in turn and saw over 600 children, telling them about Blackpool’s great win, the fantastic team spirit and spectacular tries.

The knockout stages of the competition had been held at their home base on Blackpool Road with the final being played at Blackpool Football Club’s Bloomfield road in front of over 5,000 Rugby League fans.

As well as the silverware Pablo brought with him stickers and posters for some lucky children. Pablo would like to say a big thank to all the children and to Mr Hickey (Dept Head) for a wonderful time and continued support.
