The York City Knights would like to thank everyone who contributed to making last nights match against Oldham a huge success both on and off the field. The bumper crowd of 3,106 exceeded our expectations and we hope that each and every one of you had a fantastic night.

Thanks to all involved in the pre match curtain raiser, Emma Sellers and her half time cheerleading team, the Knights Fantastic, Cop Owt, who really got the crowd going pre match, Alfie Brown and his team of matchday volunteers and to the players and coaching staff who really made it a night to remember with a great win. Also thanks must go to all at Sky Sports for their excellent coverage and comments about the club throughout the broadcast.

Our next home game is against Workington on Sunday 19th July at 3pm and it would be great to see a big crowd as we push for promotion from Co-operative Championship One!

Bar 13

Last night saw the opening of Bar 13 at Huntington Stadium; which proved popular with fans who were celebrating the fantastic win over Oldham!  This will prove to be a vital income stream to the Knights and we would ask that everyone make use of the facilities both on match days and if you are looking for a suitable venue to hold a function.
