Bulldogs sign Handforth

Bulldogs coach Karl Harrison swooped for experienced half-back Paul Handforth on Tuesday as he starts to reassemble his squad for the remainder of the campaign. Handforth, 27, has joined Batley for the remainder of the season from fellow Championship outfit Doncaster.
Born in Wakefield, Handforth started his career with his home-town Wildcats before joining the Castleford Tigers in 2004. Two years later, he dropped down to play for Featherstone Rovers before his most recent stint, at Doncaster. An Ireland international cap, Handforth is at home either at stand-off, scrum-half or hooker and should be a valued addition to KH's squad.
