The RFL Board have determined that the result in the Doncaster v Queens Carnegie Challenge Cup Third Round tie will stand.

The match was abandoned after 63 minutes of play with Doncaster leading 16-12. The decision means that the Doncaster club will move forward into the fourth round of the competition.

The RFL Board have now referred the matter to the RFL Compliance Department for them to conduct a full investigation into the events and circumstances leading up to the abandonment of the match and liaise with all relevant parties in the course of this.

The outcome of the enquiry will be announced as soon and possible and the RFL will make no further comment at this stage.
