If you are know any Black or Minority Ethnic (BME) people aged 16+ who might be interested in becoming a qualified coach, then why not encourage them to apply for our FREE Rugby league Coaching course on 17th & 24th May at Kirkstall Rugby Training Ground in Leeds. This is an RFL Positive Action initiative developed in response to the low number of BME coaches currently working in Rugby League.

As part of this initiative each participant will be allocated a mentor to support their training and work as new coaches. We are therefore also looking for volunteer coaches who would be interested in mentoring the new coaches. If you would like to know more or want to register your interest and feel you have the skills /interest please contact Sarah Williams. Mentoring may involve face to face meetings, email or telephone support and advice, whichever is most appropriate and we will match up mentees with their mentors.
