The Dons, in partnership with Balby Carr Sports College are proud to have launched West Doncaster Warriors under 11's and 12's Rugby League Club.  On Tuesday evening a squad off 22 youngsters have begun training, forming the side based as Balby Carr Sports College.

The launch has been very successful with PE teacher from the school Wayne Pickersgill saying, "Its fantastic that so many kids have taken up this excellent opportunity."

The Dons community team have been out in full force drumming up support and players for the Warriors Squad through school assemblies with Dons 1st team stars Pete Green, Craig Lawton and Scott Jones lending their support at sessions and in the schools.

Pete Green commented, "The turn out has been outstanding and I am generally impressed with the professionalism and skill levels on show.  If the team’s develop as they should I think we have unearthed a real untapped Rugby League area here in the West of the Town."
