Doncaster boss Ellery Hanley knows that two wins in four days will propel his side to a fourth-placed finish in Co-operative National League Two.

The Dons host promoted Barrow on Wednesday night before facing Hunslet on Sunday.

But their task will not be easy after Raiders boss Dave Clark confirmed that he will not rest his senior players after Barrow secured the second automatic promotion spot to Co-operative National League One last week.

Clark’s men confirmed their elevation with a 32-12 win at Swinton and now the Australian coach will let his troops enjoy the moment.

Clark said: “It would be great for the players to play well at Doncaster on Wednesday night.

“We know Doncaster have got a lot to play for, but hopefully our blokes can turn up and play well because there’s a lot of supporters going down there to cheer us on.

“We’ll be fielding the same side as at Swinton. These players have played all year and I think they should play on for the last game and get the recognition they deserve from our fans.”
