RFL Coaching Manager appointed to national coaching group

The RFL’s Coaching Manager Vinny Webb has been voted onto the newly established Coaching Advisory Group.
The group – created by Sports Coach UK - is intended to represent sports governing bodies throughout the country in order to advise on the development and introduction of new technical issues, systems and services relating to coaching and coach education.
Webb - whose appointment was made following a nomination and voting process at the recent UK Coaching Summit in Coventry - joins representatives of other national governing bodies on the panel.
These include senior coaching personnel from the ECB, England Hockey, British Cycling, British Swimming, Scottish Squash and the RFU.
Commenting on his appointment, Vinny Webb said, “I am delighted to become of a member of the UK Coaching Advisory Group.
“I am looking forward to contributing to what I believe is an exciting and progressive group which can play an important role in driving coaching to the forefront of key agendas and perform an important role for all sports national governing body”.
Webb also added, “It is also pleasing that Rugby League coaching and the RFL’s support for the UK Coaching Framework has been recognised in this way.”
