The Leaguemark scheme was introduced in 2008 and sees leagues work closely with the RFL to prove they are a well run club.

By achieving Leaguemark status the leagues must meet a set criteria and this includes areas such as Duty of Care, Child Protection, competition, Equity & Ethics and League Management.

The objective is to develop leagues that are accredited as: The sign of a quality League, committed to providing a safe, effective and child-friendly environment.
