The RFL has been working closely with Primary School Educational Specialist to ensure our Primary School programmes meets the National Minimum standard set by the Department of Education’s National Curriculum for Key stage 1 and 2

Extra Curricular activities are a great way of keeping young people active and engaged in sports as well creating that all important School to Club link.

Our Pro-Clubs and coaches’ offer a half term block of coaching opportunities where young people can engage in sports and develop the fundamental skills and movement related to rugby league and know how to pay the game.
Working with clubs can also provide schools with opportunities such as:

• Club Visits
• Assemblies by coaches
• Discount to games and merchandise
• Mascot visits to schools
