Saxton treble downs Hunslet

Tommy Saxton helped himself to a hat-trick of tries as Featherstone Rovers stayed top of the Kingstone Press Championship with a 36-18 win over Hunslet Hawks.

Kyle Briggs, Ben Kaye, Saxton (2), Tom Hodson and Greg Worthington scored tries as Rovers went into the break with a 26-0 advantage.

But Rovers didn\'t have it all their own way after the interval with tries from Tom Bush, Liam Hood, Lee Brickwood and Jim Watson getting the Hawks back into the game.

Saxton completed his treble after the break and Andy Ellis also crossed for the hosts.
