Griffiths targets improvement

North Wales Crusaders coach Clive Griffiths has set his side the target of improving on last year's 98-4 hammering by Wigan when they take on Hull in the Tetley's Challenge Cup fourth round at the KC Stadium.

"We're the firm underdogs - everyone is expecting us to get a thumping - so we'll be going there looking to prevent that and ask a few questions of Hull at the same time," Griffiths said.

"I'm not going to make any rash predictions but we're ready for the game and really looking forward to it.

"It would be nice to better last year's performance against Wigan, though, so we can show just how much we've improved in that space of time."

The match will see Hull prop Paul Johnson going up against his brother Tommy, the Crusaders full-back.
