Wane won't underestimate Leigh

Kingstone Press Championship outfit Leigh Centurions aim to create a shock when they head to face Wigan Warriors in the fourth round of the Tetley's Challenge Cup.

Leigh go to their neighbours, who are the 11-4 Cup favourites, on the back of a 60-10 thrashing by Halifax but Wigan coach Shaun Wane says he will not be taking them lightly.

"It doesn't matter to us who we play and what competition play in, we prepare the same and we will show the same respect for Leigh as we would for Warrington or St Helens," Wane said.

"They are a good team and I know a lot of their players well. They have a number of ex-Wigan players in their side like Bob Beswick, Andrew Thornley and Thomas Coyle. I know they will be really motivated for this game."

Thornley will be up against his younger brother Iain, the Wigan centre, in their first meeting at senior competitive level.
