Rovers wait on Worthington

Featherstone's 100 per cent record goes on the line when Rovers travel to the Don Valley Stadium for Thursday's televised Kingstone Press Championship clash with champions Sheffield Eagles.

The match provides a first opportunity for Featherstone to avenge last year's Grand Final defeat, although Sheffield have lost only once this season.

Eagles coach Mark Aston said: "This is a game between two title challengers and after the Grand Final result we know Rovers will come fired up.

"They're on top of their game, but so are we. We went to Leigh for what we thought would be a close game and were outstanding."

Greg Worthington (dead leg) could come back into contention for Rovers after missing last week's 52-10 win over Keighley Cougars.

Daryl Powell's men are likely to face their sternest test when they head to south Yorkshire, having so far seen off Leigh Centurions, Dewsbury Rams, Barrow Raiders, Hunslet Hawks, Whitehaven and Keighley Cougars in an impressive start to the season.

Powell said: "We still have some things to work on, but we're getting better each week. We're scoring consistently and putting teams under pressure."
