All your questions answered on the League/Club Partnership Agreements
If I sign the agreement does this mean that I can no longer be a member of BARLA, Combined Services RL, Student Rugby League, Wales Rugby League, Scotland Rugby League, English Schools Rugby League?
No by signing the agreement you are not required to give up your membership of any other organisation.
What does signing up actually mean?
By signing the agreement you agree to support and comply with the RFL policies for example;
- RFL’s Anti-Doping Rules
- Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Rules and Safeguarding Policy
- Equity, Diversity and Anti-Racism Policies
- Respect Policy
- Clubmark
It also provides the RFL with the opportunity to reaffirm the support available to clubs and leagues which we will continue to update and improve
When does the agreement end?
The agreement is ongoing from the date of signature however there will be an annual review. Either party can end the agreement giving one months notice.

Our club already has the Clubmark accreditation do I need to sign the agreement.
No. However your club is required to evidence their membership of the RFL. Clubs who are members of affiliated organisations such as BARLA, Combined Services, Student Rugby League or English Schools may choose to evidence their membership via those routes. They may also choose to simply put their Club Membership agreement in their file as evidence of affiliation to the Governing Body.
Will our constitution be affected if we sign the agreement and be bound by the RFL Memorandum, Articles of Association, Bye-Laws and Operational Rules?
No
My club already has access to the Sky Sports subscription discount. If I don’t sign the agreement does this mean that this will be withdrawn?
No. All current clubs who have the discount will continue to receive the benefit however going forward the offer will be available to affiliated clubs.
How do I receive priority access to match day tickets?
Rugby League Services will send information direct to you on a regular basis.
Where can I obtain copies of the Memorandum, Articles of Association, Bye-Laws and Operational Rules?
