Education and Special Projects LTD (ESP) is a company that specialises in the design, installation and support of the outdoor resource in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools throughout the UK.

The concept of the company was born from academic research, which concludes that a major opportunity exists to utilise the outdoor resource as an extension of the classroom and in turn combat a number of national issues such as:

• Childhood Obesity
• Health
• Social Exclusion
• Citizenship

And deliver 'real' improvements in the following areas:

• Levels of Physical Activity for Every Child
• Inclusion
• Leadership
• Self-esteem ..... Contributing towards a Reduction in Childhood Obesity

We have a proven track record in working with schools as an educational partner; evidencing a positive change in learning and physical activity and effectively delivering on national agendas such as Every Child Matters and Healthy Schools.

Our CPD department, headed by Dr David Morley, has a wide range of education expertise and is responsible for supporting our products and services. This ensures that every school working in partnership with ESP deliver systemic and sustainable change that impacts across the whole school and community. We have relationships with the university network who independently measure the impact ESP are having in schools and on lifestyles generally.

All of our training programmes are nationally accredited and approved by the Professional Development Board of the association for Physical Education (afPE.)
