Widnes join Barrow in Northern Rail Cup Final
A hat-trick from Anthony Thackeray sent Widnes into the Northern Rail Cup final as they edged out Halifax 27-22 in a pulsating game in front of almost 4,000 supporters at the Shay.
Widnes held off a second-half fightback from their opponents to set up a final showdown with Barrow in Blackpool on July 12..
Shad Royston crossed twice for Halifax but it was not enough to deny the Vikings.
Tickets for the Northern Rail Cup Final which takes place on 12 July at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool are now available from £12 or £5 for concessions by calling the RFL Ticket Office on 0871 226 1313 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk
Widnes season ticket holders will be able to purchase Northern Rail Cup Final tickets on Tuesday 23rd from 9.30am to 6.30pm and Wednesday 24th from 9.30am to 5pm
From Thursday 25th June tickets will be on general sale with no limit on purchases. The opening hours will be 9.30am to 5pm.

Weekend tickets for the Northern Rail 9s event which runs on 11 and 12 July at Fylde RUFC are only available from Co-operative Championship clubs and are priced at £9 for adults and £5 for concessions
Should supporters wish to upgrade to a Northern Rail Cup Final ticket prior to the event they should contact the RFL ticket office where there will be an additional £5 (Adults) and £2 (Concessions) charge.
