Sean Long made history by becoming the first player to win the prestigious Lance Todd trophy for a third time as St Helens swept to a 42-12 victory over Huddersfield Giants in the Powergen Challenge Cup final at Twickenham.
Saints eventually found their scoring touch to run away with the contest as expected but the scoreline did scant justice to Huddersfield's brave efforts.

Powergen Challenge Cup Final Pre Match Part 3
Huddersfield Giants go Twickenham on Saturday to face St Helens in the 2006 Powergen Challenge Cup Final. It will be there first appearance in the Final since 1962 and they will be bidding for their first Challenge Cup final win since 1953.
Head Coach Jon Sharp and his players started their last preparations this week and Super League TV joined Giants at their media session to discover what they felt about the club's biggest day for years.
